Standard Deck Tech - Izzet Dragons - MTG Arena

Welcome all to my weekly MTG Arena Video series! Each Monday and Friday I’ll have a new video ready to watch!

We're back today with a new Standard season and it's time to try out some sweet new decks. Today I'll be playing a favourite of mine, Izzet Dragons! The goal of this deck is to use tempo spells to prevent your opponent from getting an aggressive start against you until you can start casting some of your big spells. This includes Goldspan Dragon followed up by Alrund's Epiphany. There is a new card though from Innistrad Midnight Hunt that really helps this deck and that is Smoldering Egg. It can allow you to get value from your spells by allowing to eventually transform into a powerful damage-dealing Dragon that will help you win the game. Let's see if I have what it takes to drive this deck to victory.
