Standard Deck Tech - 4-Colour Codie - MTG Arena

Welcome all to my weekly MTG Arena Video series! Each Monday and Friday I’ll have a new video ready to watch!

Today we're heading back to Standard with a 4-Colour Codie deck. Codie, Vociferous Codex is the star of the show in this deck. Codie allows us to get double our value when we cast instant or sorcery spells, at the cost of not being able to cast permanent spells. Using the new command spells like Lorehold Command and Quandrix Command means you can get even more value out of your spells, thanks to their modal options! The only other non-land permanent we have in our deck is Torrent Sculptor, only because we can use its flip-side, Flamethrower Sonata, to throw our spells at opponent's creatures and planeswalkers!
