Welcome back to another series of articles from CommandBeacon.com. Today we take a look at the former Coppercoat and her Cat Nightmare. The lore behind them is interesting, even though Trynn became a bonder she stayed in the city of Drannith to keep it strong by pretty much culling the weak. Luring people out to go exploring with her, going to Silvars den, and feeding them to the big cat.
The deck is similar to a human tribal Jirina deck which is no surprise as they are from the same Ruthless Regiment deck and she fits in this list as well. The difference here is rather than a token anthem tribal we have a token raid Commander supported by an aristocrat style sacrifice engine Commander. With about 90% of the deck being humans, there is plenty of things to feed to Silvar.
This deck is still as aggressive as the Mardu colours allow and in comparison to Jirina who creates a strong swarm this deck can go both tall and wide. There are always fun things to do when you have a sacrifice engine as a Commander and with the partner support generating tokens it's just an all-around good time. If you like tribal deck synergies and aggressive strategies then this may be a good choice to take a look at.
