- Activate Banewhip Punisher, targeting The Scarab God.
- With the ability still on the stack (but Banewhip Punisher is in the graveyard because it was sacrificed as part of the cost), activate The Scarab God's ability, targeting Banewhip Punisher.
- Banewhip Punisher returns to the battlefield as a Zombie. Wayward Servant triggers, draining your opponent to 3.
- With the Punisher's ETB, target Sacred Cat, putting a -1/-1 counter on it and killing it.
- The initial Punisher ability finally resolves, and Scarab God dies.
- Attack with Wayward Servant and Khenra Eternal. Regardless of how they block, they will take at least 3 between combat damage, Afflict, and Plague Belcher's triggered ability.
