- Cast One With the Wind targeting the opponent's Labyrinth Guardian. The Guardian's sacrifice trigger and Captured by the Consulate will both trigger. One With the Wind ends up on your Vizier of Tumbling Sands and the Guardian is sacrificed.
- Cast Kujar Seedsculptor. When it enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on your Vizier of Tumbling Sands.
- Cast Reaver Ambush, targeting the opponent's Ornithopter. Since your Vizier is an illegal target for Reaver Ambush, Captured by the Consulate cannot retarget it, so Ornithopter dies.
- Attack with a 1/1 Frilled Sandwalla and an 8/8 Majestic Myriarch for a lethal 9.
