Welcome back to Possibility Storm, the weekly MTG puzzle series, available exclusively through MTGCanada and PossibilityStorm.com.
We've got a bit of a different type of puzzle for you this week. Rather than knowing how much damage you have to deal, this week is all about smashing in for as much damage as humanly possible.
Disregard the timer on the left side - that was for our Patrons as they solved this last week, as we also introduced a new speed factor for them to earn bonus points. Although this one actually stumped nearly all of them. Take a look at the puzzle below to see if you can maximize the damage!

- Play your Wastes.
- Cast the Insult half of Insult | Injury.
- Cast Hazoret's Favor.
- Use Saheeli Rai's -2 ability to copy Combat Celebrant.
- First attack step. Hazoret's Favor gives +2/+0 to the token Combat Celebrant. Attack with it and the original, exerting the token to untap the original. Deal (6 + 4) x 2 = 20 damage.
- Second attack step. Hazoret's Favor gives +2/+0 to Identity Thief. Attack with the original Celebrant and Identity Thief. Exert the Celebrant, and use Identity Thief to exile it. The exert ability untaps the token Celebrant and Identity Thief, and the Thief connects for 6 x 2 = 12 damage.
- Third attack step. Hazoret's Favor gives +2/+0 to the Celebrant token. Attack with it and the Identity Thief, exerting the Thief to untap the token, and connect for (8 + 6) x 2 = 28 damage.
- In the final attack step, Hazoret's Favor gives +2/+0 to the token Celebrant again, making it a 10/1, and attack with it for 10 x 2 = 20 damage.20 + 12 + 28 + 20 = 80!
